Days 1–3: Land Safe

- 2.Get a Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, or XL Axiata SIM at the airport or any minimarket — requires your KTP or passport
Days 4–7: Get Connected
- 3.Contact family networks in your kampung or kota — Indonesian community ties are organized by island and ethnic region
- 4.Visit the Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) in your kecamatan to update or obtain your KTP (national ID) and KK (family card)
Week 2: Documents & Stability
- 5.Your KTP is essential for banking, employment, BPJS healthcare, and all government services
- 6.Open a bank account at Bank Mandiri, BCA, or BRI using your KTP and KK
Week 3–4: Start Rebuilding
- 7.Register for BPJS Kesehatan (public health insurance) at your nearest BPJS office using your KTP
- 8.Set up GoPay or OVO digital wallet for everyday transactions — widely accepted across Indonesian cities
